01. Who we are
The Canadian Universities Padel League (CUPL) is a student-run sports league operating at cuplpadel.ca. You can reach us at any time via info@cuplpadel.ca.
02. What we collect
When you use our forms we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, university, and the contents of your message or registration. We also collect standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and rate-limiting purposes.
03. How we use it
We use your information to run the league: responding to enquiries, processing player registrations, coordinating with club captains, managing partnerships, and — only if you opt in — sending the CUPL newsletter.
04. Media consent
Match days and events may be photographed or filmed. Player registration includes an explicit media consent checkbox; without that consent we do not publish identifiable imagery of you.
05. Where it's stored
Form submissions are stored in our Supabase database (hosted in a secure cloud region) and notification emails are delivered via Resend. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
06. How long we keep it
Registrations are kept for the duration of your participation in the league. Contact messages are reviewed periodically and deleted when no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
07. Your rights
You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email info@cuplpadel.ca and we'll action it promptly.
08. Changes
If this policy changes we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. Last updated: September 2026.
